This week, our Young Masters have been taking works of the Old Masters and putting their own unique spin on them.

In the Masterpiece Theatre Class, our Young Masters have been learning about five Old Masters, their lives and their art. The classes have created a reproduction of each Painter’s work, in addition to their own creations. Incorporating music, movement and art into each segment, the Young Masters presented a showcase for their families at the end of camp.

Class van Gogh created Starry Night


Class Kandinsky does a Russian folk circle dance around their version of Several Circles Posted by Picasa


Class Picasso created a remarkable version of Three Musicians. Posted by Picasa


Class O'Keeffe did an adaptation of two of Georgia O'Keeffe's works and called it Metamorphosis. Posted by Picasa


Class Dali created a 3-D version of The Persistence of Memory and also showcased some of their own surreal objects. Posted by Picasa


For a finale, all of our Young Masters sent off the showcase with by kicking up their heels to the Charleston. Posted by Picasa
